2 inch Body Lift Kit - Vauxhall/Opel Frontera Sport A series SWB.

All the parts are contained in this kit to raise your truck's body by a nominal 2 inch

Raising your body will enable you to fit bigger diameter tyres allowing you more clearance under the vehicle.

The 2 inch kit is the easiest of our kits to fit needing only the modification or removal of the fan cowling on the radiator - further instructions can be found Here and you'll find some FAQs Here.

Fitting

Refer to the general fitting page, remove the fan/radiator cowling (if fitted) before lifting, the existing front 6 bolts are fitted down through, the rear ones are fitted up through into captivated nuts (we supply the correct bolt for the captivated nuts) - you may have to replace some of the front 6 up through.
Bumpers are raised by drilling new holes in the bumper brackets 2 inches below the original top one and (on the front only) drilling a hole 2 inches above the original lower hole in the chassis (you will need a new nut for this hole.
You will need to remove some plastic from the underside of the central console behind the gear lever and transfer lever to allow the lever to stay in gear.

Vehicle Specific FAQs:

Is my Frontera an "A" series or a "B" series, what is the diffence?

Although the "A" series had a face lift in 1995 there were no major differences to the construction of the Frontera until the "B" series was introduced in 1998 - the main difference for body lifts being a change in the bolting method and the number of mounting points used. We show pictures of both "A" and "B" series long and short wheel base to help you identify your truck.

Can I fit a bigger lift than 2" on my Fronteria?

The Fronteria can only accept a 2" lift without a major modification to the steering linkage, this involves cutting, lengthening and welding. If you are competent enough to do this, then the maximum would be a 4" lift.

Google translation: Very well done and looks like it is very nice. Expensive for the assembly is approximately 7 hours. This is a little setback with two bolts broke off. And you really do not need further modifications to your car to do. Really a very good set.
